This report presents the summary results of a recent NORP survey about organizational collaborations, completed by nonprofit organizations in the arts & culture, and social services sectors. A total of 466 responses were received (21.3% response rate).


NORP Survey Series Report #6
The NORP Survey Series#6 ran an online experiment with nonprofit leaders. The study found some evidence that nonprofit organizations would change their fundraising expenses when facing cuts in government funding, yet the authors also find that the change could be either to increase or decrease fundraising spending. NORP Survey Series Report #5
This report presents the summary results of a recent NORP survey about nonprofit overhead costs, completed by nonprofit organizations in the arts & culture, and social services sectors. A total of 517 responses were received (35.1% response rate). This survey instrument contained two online experiments.

NORP Survey Series Report #4
This report presents the summary results of a recent NORP survey about community engagement, completed by nonprofit organizations in the arts & culture sector. A total of 106 responses were received (34.2% response rate). The average budget size of responding organizations was $787,864 (median was $171,011).


NORP Survey Series Report #3
This report presents the summary results of the 3rd NORP survey, completed by relatively small nonprofit human/social services organizations (i.e., organizations with gross receipts less than $500,000). The survey covers questions related to staffing issues at small nonprofits. A total of 248 responses were received (47.0% response rate).

This report presents the summary results of the 2nd NORP survey, completed by nonprofit human/social services organizations with gross receipts of over $500K. The survey covers questions related to nonprofit performance measurement practices. A total of 226 responses were received (47.2% response rate).


NORP Survey Series Report #1
This survey report presents the descriptive results of a NORPanel online survey about nonprofit organizations’ constituents. The survey was conducted during 2016 spring, and included online responses from 306 panel organizations in the arts and culture & human services sectors (61.2% response rate).
